The PowerShot SD780 IS Digital ELPH Movie Mode features HD and allows many sophisticated features carried over from the still shot options.

Shoot movies at 1280x720 HD resolution, at 30 frames per second, and play them back directly on an HDTV through the camera’s new HDMI terminal*. Movies are also possible at standard 640x480 resolution, or at reduced 320x240 resolution – all at a smooth 30 fps. Standard movie recording, Color Accent, and Color Swap settings are all possible. Any PowerShot movies can be played back onto standard TVs, using the supplied A/V cable.
