industry-standard SDXC high-capacity SD
memory cards*, in addition to readily
available SD, SDHC, MMC, MMCplus
and HC MMCplus cards.
SDXC cards are not compatible with older cameras and devices designed for SD and SDHC cards, and must never be formatted in an older, non-compatible camera or device — even if the device prompts you to on its LCD screen. Older SD and SDHC cards can be used in the Canon A1200 without problems.
