With the introduction of the EOS 5D Mark II, Canon is the first SLR maker to provide true 1920x1080 High Definition video at 30 frames per second in a digital SLR.
The votes are in and the users are amazed with its unique 35mm film-like image quality in both stills and video.
And there’s even more good news! The newest EOS Rebel T1i brings HD video recording in a digital SLR a broader audience of amateurs and advanced amateurs as well, with Full HD 1920x1080 at 20 fps — plus the option of 1280x720 HD video shooting at 30 fps.
By being first in this category, Canon’s EOS 5D Mark II has shown the industry a glimpse of what is possible using non-traditional video equipment: a high resolution still digital SLR with built-in 1920x1080 HD video recording capability.
As of March 2009, Canon remains the only digital SLR maker with full 1920x1080 video recording capability. |
